Ammonia Meter: This is a very popular meter for obvious reasons. Range 0.00 to 3.00 mg/l resolution 0.01 mg/l Battery, instructions 2 test tubes included. Simple to use, results in less than 4 minutes. You will need reagents and these are available see below……

 

Waterproof pH & Temperature Meter:

A superb digital dip and read meter, automatic 2 point self calibrating feature, full microprocessor circuit with automatic compensation resolution 0.1 and temperature meter can be set to f or c scale Batteries, Instructions, & 2 buffer calibration solutions are included free. replaceable pH probe.

Checktemp C:

A highly accurate meter. Range –50 to +150 C, resolution 0.1 Immersion time only 20 seconds for a truly accurate reading. Self calibration test feature. Batteries & instructions included. Rated for food, water, & soil use. 5” stainless steel probe (not floating)

T.D.S. Meter:

Shows a good correlation to measuring hardness if no salt is present. Measures in mg/L another useful dip and read digital meter. Supplied with buffer solution.

Hanna electronic Ion specific meters

The following meters work using ion specific chemical method, in other words like simple test kits, a chemical is added and a colour is formed and the electronic meter reads the results very accurately in mg/l down to 2 decimal places I.E. 0.01mg/l special reagents (chemicals) are required for each parameter.

How they work? There is no need to calibrate as the test procedure does this for you. Fill the test tube with a clear pond water sample, insert into meter, press the “zero” button (this calibrates the pond water sample to the meter as a reference), add the reagent to the same test tube, Insert back into the meter, press the read timer button, this starts a timer count down, then the meter shows the result on the digital display. All have a 2 year warranty.
