Aquamax Pumps

The Aquamax (Pride of the Oase Range) has been developed with the intention to transport a maximum of polluted water into a filter system by using as little pressure as possible. The main difference between the Aquamax and the other pumps is its particularly specially designed impeller. Due to the two large blades of the impeller, even highly polluted water can be transported efficiently (this means the fish and other waste).

The Aquamax pump has a life which is ten times longer than the one of ordinary submersible pumps. Furthermore, it uses less energy. These assets are due to the proven split shaft technology. The motor housing is made of stainless steel, the large overall filter housing is made of a special plastic. These are the reasons why OASE offers a Three Year Guarantee on this pump. Of course, as you would expect, the Aquamax will work as a submersible pump or a dry surface pump and has a 1 ½" inlet - so it really can shift the water - and debris very efficiently...

Proven technology redesigned. The powerful but "frugal" asynchronous motor is enclosed by a robust plastic housing. The special impeller feeds large volumes of water without the need for high pressure. This also makes it a good choice for waterfalls.

Since OASE introduced the Aquamax range at GAFA in 1996, it has fast become the only solids handling filtration pump. Unequalled in reliability, performance and economy. There is no comparison between Aquamax and drainage or cellar pumps.
OASE have now even improved on a winning formula. Our ongoing product development has resulted in an improved Aquamax range. The main advantages of Aquamax compared to others pumps remain. The specially designed impellor, allowing even the largest particles to pass through en route to the filter. With a life expectancy of around 10 times longer and up to 75% savings on running cost, there can be no comparison with traditional drainage pumps. This is guaranteed by the tried and tested canned rotor technology. With the exception of the Aquamax 5500, all Aquamax models feature stainless steel motor housings. A new pre-filter protects pond wildlife from injury. Whilst still allowing particles up to 8 mm such as Koi excrement’s, dead leaves or weed to pass through. The new strainer is simple to disassemble and to clean. Neither pump or hose need to be dismantled. Further more a higher flow rate could be achieved by decreasing the filter clearance. A main feature of the new Aquamax is the side mounted 1½“ outlet, complete with free moving ball joint. Thus if required, the hose can even be led across the bottom of the pond to the filter. A threaded step down hose tail is also supplied, allowing the simple connection of four different hose sizes up to 1½“. Aquamax is the ideal pump for Koi ponds, streams or waterfalls of typical height within any garden pond. Also the perfect pump for gravity fed filters.

Following the tremendous success since the introduction of the Aquamax range of pumps, which have undoubtedly outstripped sales of every other make of submersible pump since it's introduction, Oase have now come up with a new range of pumps to extend the Aquamax range .. The Aquamax Eco Range, For the more enviromentally consious pond enthusiast or the one who wishes to same money on running costs.


Second inlet - adjustable. The flow rate of the second inlet can be regulated and allows the connection of the remote filter supplied with the pump or a surface skimmer.		Flow Regulation. Adjustable from 0 to 50% flow rate. Ideal for adjusting the skimmer performance if fitted.

Ball Joint. Optimise flow speed through the joint that makes it possible to swivel the outlet in any direction		Remote Filter. All New Aquamax pumps are still compatible with the Remote Filter (Satellite) which can be purchased separately.

TWO INLETS - ONE OUTLET ! and the second inlet even has four different steps for flow regulation - or alternatively instead of using the Satellite case, you can connect the second inlet to one of the Oase Surface Skimmers and pull in the floating debris from the surface of the pond .. No other pump can offer these capabilities ..

As you can see from the illustrations shown here - these pumps are extremely easy to set up and connect to either the second remote filter, or to the Oase Surface Skimmer if one is to be fitted ..
