every drop of water - unlike many that need 12" water within the
chamber before it will work ...
THE 'COMPAC'...
The Compac range are for clean water designed to
drain domestic applications, but of course will work on our Koi
Pond installations where the water has been filtered .. It
is ideal for limited spaces and comes complete with an integral
float switch, which can be selected in automatic or manual modes.
In automatic mode the pump switches on when the water level
reaches approximately 140mm and switches off at approximately
30mm. In the manual mode the level of water can be pumped down to
approximately 3mm.
It is supplied with a check valve and a 1.25"
adjustable hose connector for hose sizes of 3/4" - 1" and 1.25"
and has 10 mtrs of power cable.
The Pump body is made from polypropylene, noryl
impeller, stainless steel shaft. Twin NBR lip sealed.
There are two pumps in the range the Compac 150 and the Compac 200

Please bear in mind if you are proposing to
use one in your sump chamber, or your filtration system, that the float switch does not
operate until the water has a depth of approximately 15" -
so we do advise making a centre heavily dished bottom to the
sump chamber ... this applies to all Automatic switching pumps
with this type of float switch.
