Our Newly Designed 'Surface Skimmers'

The latest and probably the Newest Design on the Aquatic Market .. designed by the Koi Professionals for the true Koi enthusiast...

These Specially designed Skimmer Boxes, are of course where possible, designed to build into the top of the Koi Pond wall at the time of construction .. they are exactly the same dimensions as the standard concrete block (18" x 9" x 9") so it is just a matter of leaving out one such concrete block to allow these skimmer boxes to fit firmly into place prior to cementing them in the final cement render coat being applied ... and of course if you are intending to Fibre Glass your pond then the finished product will really look the part .. These Skimmer Boxes are available in just two main colour finishes .. Black and Dark Green ....

The Skimmer Box, which is fitted with a single 1.5" Pressure pipe outletbuild it underneath for easy connection to your pipe work - and we can if you wish supply a reducing bush to enable you to use the conventional solvent weld pipe that is so popular today with the pond constructor ....

But one of the best features, and it has many, is the adjustable front plate (see photo at the top of the page) which this allows for that margin of error or a fluctuation in the actual water level as this plate can be raised or lowered to suit the water level at the time ...  No other Surface Skimmer has this provision (unless they have copied ours !)

Please note: A surface skimmer can be used completely independently from the main filtration system - but it does still require the water to be passed through a filter of some sort ... and this of course will depend on the surface area of the pond and the pump being used...

A word about ordering off our web site ... which of course we do guarantee is totally secure ... because of the difficulty in trying to calculate the carriage costs of shipping any individual orders ... we have had to add minimum carriage charges to each item .. as it is impossible to know what, and how many separate items you may wish to order - however when ordering numerous single items on the one order .. these individual carriage charges do add up to far more than the actual carriage costs that will be incurred .... we do however assure you that these excessive carriage charges will be adjusted down to the true cost of those carriage charges for the goods that you have ordered .... 

Also please note: All packages received from us should be Checked thoroughly inside and out before they are signed for, if a parcel is found to be damaged then please refuse the delivery.... unless this is done we are unable to enter into any claims, on your behalf with the Carriers concerned....
