| As I
have said so many times .. the Filtration System is the most
important part of any Koi Pond and has to be regarded, along
with the pumps, as being the Heart and Lungs of the living pond
..
The System that was chosen by our customer was the All Stainless Steel System fitted with The Answer 410 from Evolution Aqua - which of course The East Riding Koi Co are main agents for and we were in fact the very first company in the world to buy goods from Evolution Aqua in June 2001 .... we have total faith in all of the Evolution Aqua products and can recommend them without worries to our many customers in all parts of the world ... The Filtration System fitted comprises of 1x
Primary Settlement Chamber served from 2 of The East Riding Koi
Companies own special bottom drains which have the separate Air
Line Ducting Connection, which are specially made for our
company and those were fitted with the renowned Spindrifter Air
Diffusers using 1/4" reinforced air hose ... There are 3 x
Biological Chambers each fitted out with Blue Japanese Matting
cartridges. |

Skimmers was fitted to the pond - these skimmers have been
especially designed to take the place of a 18" x 9"
Concrete block and have a removable inner collecting tray - unique
to our design we also incorporate into the skimmer an adjustable
front plate to make the fitting of these skimmer boxes that little
bit easier - this provides 1/2 " tolerance which is often
needed and overlooked when fitting other more conventional skimmer
boxes... |

The Finer particles from the surface skimmer which
is powered by A Sequence 1/4hp pump - were finely filtered out by
using the Hidroclean Cartridge Filter which we have promoted and
sold successfully now for over 4 years ....
The Hidroclean cartridge is extremely easy to clean - simply remove the cartridge and then using a cradle to lay the cartridge on, something similar to a Yacht cradle .. it is a very easy task to hit the leaves of the cartridge with a hose pipe fitted with a jet nozzle, or better still if one is available, a pressure washer which makes the job so much easier ... we have sold hundreds of these Hidroclean Cartridge filters to customers in all parts of the world ...
