This is an advanced specification microscope, elegantly designed and finished in beige enamel. The range is available exclusively from Brunel Microscopes and is recommended because of its impressive optical performance as a quality microscope. It has a build quality comparable to instruments of a far greater price that are considered the market leaders. It can be supplied in monocular, binocular or trinocular form, and can be equipped with a variety of specifications including achromatic or plan objectives, or as phase contrast and dark ground units.

Four position objective turret with a precise internal indexing mechanism. Parfocal DIN standard objectives x4, x10, x40, x100 (oil). x60 and x20 available as accessories all with a rubber insert styling grip.and matched with extremely widefield x10 eyepieces. The SP100 is also available with infinity corrected objectives - in trinocular form only.

The microscope heads are rotatable through 360 degrees and have full dioptric and interocular adjustment. The trinocular heads allow full light to the binocular eyetubes or an 80/20 light division to the trinocular tube for photography or CCTV applications. The large mechanical stage measures 160 x 150mm and has drop down coaxial controls and double vernier scales.
The substage condenser (N.A. 1.25) has a full rack and pinion control mechanism, centring adjusters and an iris diaphragm and filter carrier with daylight filter.

Accessories includes an excellent prism drawing attachment which fits beneath the microscope head and allows both the image and the drawing paper to be viewed simultaneously.
A full phase contrast kit and dark ground condensers make this a very versatile instrument.
Integrated solid state electronics control illumination 6v. 20 watt available as 240v or 110 volts (internal switching). Quartz halogen bulb with rheostat control and on/off switch with warning light. Access to the bulb is via a simple trap door in the base. Field lens.

SP200 Research Microscope
 
The Brunel SP200 series microscopes are designed to give research standard equipment that combines quality and ease of use with prices that are competitive by any standards.

The SP200 microscopes are extremely well built with a very modern design, and are available as binocular or trinocular with plan objectives as standard.

The microscope controls are ergonomically situated for ease of use. The low position coaxial coarse and fine focus controls and the large square mechanical stage give the microscopes a quality feel of instruments that are of a far greater price. Quintuple objective turret.

Phase contrast set and dark ground condenser options are available with a wide range of accessories including CCTV and 35mm photography. The full range of accessories is impressive, and includes a full phase contrast set of objectives and a simple dark ground condenser for low and high power objectives.

The condenser (N.A. 1.25) has integral iris and filter carrier and has lateral movement adjusters for centring.
Digital camera adapters are available for both the trinocular and binocular eyetubes and a drawing lucida attachment can be fitted beneath either head. The SP200 is ideal for CCTV applications, with standard camera units for the trinocular head. The Minicam and Educam will both fit into either eyetube of the binocular head.

Winchester SP Series Microscopes

 The technical features include a fully focussing substage condenser (N.A. 1.25) with internal iris diaphragm and filter carrier, and a mechanical stage with drop down controls and vernier reference scales. The Winchester models have low position co-axial coarse and fine focus controls. The fine focus is graduated for specimen depth measurement. Slides are protected by a stage focus stop, and the high power objectives have spring loaded front lenses. Both monocular and binocular heads are fully rotating, and the binocular head (SP60) has a magnification factor of x1 with interpupillary and dioptric adjustment.

Optical Specification:
Eyepieces and objectives conform to DIN standard. x10 widefield eyepieces, and x4, x10, x40 and x100 (oil immersion) achromatic objectives, with numerical apertures of 0.1, 0.25, 0.65 and 1.25 respectively.

Accessories:
A wide range of accessories are available including: photomicrography attachment, dark ground condenser, polariser/analyser, phase contrast (x40 objective only), measuring equipment, additional eyepieces and CCTV adapter.
The binocular head of the SP60 is not interchangeable with the monocular SP50.
