What Is Bao Bio Koi....
Bao Bio Koi is an innovative
product that delivers many benefits to any Koi
pond. It contains naturally occurring beneficial
bacteria combined with food grade ingredients
that allow for enhanced water quality and
improved fish health. Bao Bio Koi has been
specifically designed for usage in Koi ponds
where ornamental Koi fish are kept.
The bacterial colonies found in
Bao Bio Koi manages to reduce the numbers of
disease causing bacteria - like our old enemies
Aeromonas spp. and Pseudomonas spp.
This results in a prophylactic
effect against ulcer disease of Koi. Bao Bio Koi
also improves water quality by reducing the
levels of wastes in the pond. Combined with
lower disease causing bacterial counts, Bao Bio
Koi improves a Koi's health and immune system -
which results in what we all want - hungry
healthy and active Koi fish!
How To Use Bao Bio Koi....
Bao Bio Koi is available in a kit
form containing two types of tablets (Bao Bio
Koi 1 and Bao Bio Koi 2), each one containing
unique properties to ensure superior biological
effects.
Each of these tablets is dosed at
a rate of 1 tablet per 10 00 litres and you
alternate between Bao Bio Koi 1 and Bao Bio Koi
2 once weekly. You can also activate the tablets
manually by aerating them in a bucket of water
for 12 hours before adding it to the pond water.
Bao Bio Koi is completely safe
and you can increase the dosage - you cannot
overdose with this product. It doesn't affect
fish or plants or any other aquatic lifeforms
bigger than a pinhead. It is of course
completely stable at normal room temperature and
it can be stored safely on the shelf for up to 2
years...
Production costs have been kept
as low as possible so that Koi keepers can
continue to use it throughout the year. It works
across all ranges of water conditions that Koi
can tolerate in respect of pH, salinity, water
hardness, temperature, etc. In short wherever
Koi are kept you can use Bao Bio Koi.
How Does Bao Bio Koi Actually Work Then?....
Bao Bio Koi works by competing
for the same food source as pathogenic bacteria
- the bacteria contained in Bao Bio Koi can
consume the food source at a much faster rate.
The fewer the pathogens, the less the
probability that your Koi will develop
ulcers..., and especially so when they are under
stress.
But that's not all!
The Boa Bio bacteria also help
consume the waste by-products of complex
proteins and carbohydrates from any superfluous
Koi food which is not completely digested,
especially during peak growth periods.
Because Bao Bio reduces the
numbers of Pseudomonas and Aeromonas that are in
Koi pond systems you can stock higher densities
of fish that otherwise would possibly succumb to
these nasty bacteria because of their sheer
numbers in the pond, which in turn are a direct
result of the increased filtration load on the
pond.
