"Wheatgerm with Garlic" from N.T.Labs
N.T.Labs have produced a food that can be fed
during the colder months and help protect our fish from
parasites.
The Garlic that is mixed in with the wheatgerm is
rich in sulphur containing compounds which give it it's
characteristic smell. These compounds are known to
have repellent properties. The volatile oils in garlic diffuse
through the skin of the fish and into the mucus layer. Parasites
which live in the mucus layer of the fish react to these
compounds by swimming away from them.
MediKoi Wheatgerm with garlic is also a great
appetite stimulator, if you have moved your fish and they have
gone off their food or have taken a dislike to their regular
food then feed MediKoi Wheatgerm with Garlic to increase there
food intake.
MediKoi Wheatgerm with Garlic is recommended to
be used in conjunction with the rest of the MediKoi range for
when the temperature drops to low to be feeding the higher
protein foods and whilst the fish take a rest from the intense
growth diet - Please remember it is important to rest the
fish from Growth diets to help limit the chances of them
contracting Cancers and other infections....
