| HOW IT WORKS:
The Febi-Turbo Cleaner works so efficiently because it makes use of a special physical effect. The organic substances that endanger the ecological balance 'surface active'. This means that they like to settle at the interface between the water and the air. You can see how this effect works if you aerate the pond in the summer and watch the foam forming on the surface. The febi-Turbo Cleaner use of this principle: there is a nozzle in the supply line which constantly sucks air into the water. This leads to an air-water mixture. Each air bubble forms an interface at which the organic substances settle in the form of a thin film. The hazardous substances are now al 'captured' in one area, this is step 1. Step 2: the air bubbles rise to the surface. In the middle part of the Turbo Cleaner they are compressed into a foam carpet in which particles are suspended. |

| Because the surface tension of
fresh water is very high, the air bubbles on the upper side of the
foam carpet would soon burst. To prevent this, the Turbo Cleaner
works with a system of small tubes. These tubes interact with the
foam bubbles. Adhesive forces at the air bubbles being able to
rise through the tubular system. At the end of the tubes, the
bubbles burst and release the substances which are then discharged
as concentrate.
The great advantage of the Turbo Cleaner is that the matter of contaminates the water is completely removed for the water circulation. With a conventional filter, on the other hand, they remain in the filter material, the pond water flows through it constantly and it can continue to have a negative effect, e.g. by encouraging decaying processes. This means: the Turbo Cleaner regulates very efficiently the biological equilibrium in a pond created by a glut of organic mater. This means that algae have fewer nutrients and their growth is considerably reduced. If the algae already fluorescent, we recommend that the UV lamp available as an accessory is used at the same time so that the propagation cycle is un-interrupted. The skimmed concentrate is a biologically natural fertilizer and excellent for use with garden and indoor plants. Because what the Turbo Cleaner in fact removes are nutrients.
