N.B. A pressure release bypass is essential if using high
pressure pumps rated at 1.5 bar or over! e.g. rated with a
combined suction & delivery head exceeding 15m (50ft). (0.7
bar/7m head for BBF-1 & 2).
**Ideal flow rates are based on circulating the pond volume
through the filter: once every three hours in lightly
stocked ponds ( (1) = Max. Volume); and once every two
hours in typically stocked ponds ( (2) = Max. Volume).
Less UV is required in shaded conditions. More UV is necessary
if sterilizing.
Gallons are imperial - multiply by 1.2 for U.S. Gallons
All dimensions and backwash volumes are approximate.
