Japanese Ceramic Airstones

There are not many who do not know what Airstones are ... but let me stress that these are important if you are going to distribute sufficient air to those area's of your pond and filtration system where Air is essential ...

Many Koi and other pond keepers, unfortunately, are not aware of the importance of air in both the pond and importantly, within the actual biological side of the filtration system .. remember that every living thing, including bacteria survive only with a source of air ...and the benefits of air within the filtration system will be seen in a very short space of time ..

Air Stones, like many other products, only have a certain life-span ..  and do need replacing frequently to maintain optimum performance.

These high quality long life air stones are made from a refined ceramic compound. They produce very fine aeration and can be used in conjunction with any good air pump. All of the ceramic air products have plastic end housings which protect the air stone against abrasive contact from any surrounding surfaces. This added protection provides long life and trouble free operation of the units.

We are now stocking those larger diffuser type stones ..  these are really superb and from the same Japanese stable as those listed above - these give an excellent air flow and one placed strategically on the bottom of the pond or tank will work wonders ...  long lasting and very strong ..

They come in two sizes - the larger model is 200mm diameter and the smaller model is 132mm diameter - these will make a very useful addition to any pond or tank air system, and make a superb present for the Aquatic enthusiast

Now we are able to supply these new, and superb Air Rings for your pond .. these provide a good air column, not unlike that from the Air Diffusers .. these new rings come in two sizes and are weighted to keep them down on the bottom of the tank, or pond ...  and come complete with 10 feet of 4 mm  airline, which can, of course be extended, and which is just connected to your air pump ..
