Shipping and Carriage Charges On
Orders:
We would like to draw the attention to the
difficulty we have estimating the actual costs involved as far
as shipping and carriage charges are concerned when customers
place their Orders for Multiple Items on our web site ...
Because, there are so many products in our
range of goods, and because it is impossible to know in advance,
which product, and how many items, individuals may require or
wish to order ...
When we program the Purchase Buttons which
enable you to add that item to the shopping cart ... we try very
hard to place a minimum carriage charge to that item .. and this
of course does vary with each item ordered, for reasons of size
etc ..
We are finding however .. that when our
customers wish to have multiple items that the total carriage
charges which are shown on the Final Checkout form are far in
excess of the cost of carriage on those items collectively ...
and in some cases these accumulative carriage charges are quite
alarming ...
We wish to assure our valued customers that
these excessive carriage charges will be removed from that
order, once the order received and the minimum charges it is
possible to levy will be applied ..
Naturally there does have to be an element of
trust afforded to us by our customers and we hope that trust
will be forthcoming ... and their orders will be allowed will be
received ....
Naturally we are working on this problem ..
but at the moment it certainly seems to be an insurmountable one
... and we trust that you will bear with us in this matter of
Shipping and Carriage Charges ...
Please Note Also: That due to rough
handling by all carriers, no matter who they are, damage to
goods in transit can occur - and unfortunately does quite often
.. We Urge our customers to check the parcel before signing for
it....When you sign for a parcel you are signing that it is in
good condition ..
This is extremely important if we are to have any chance of
claiming for damage to goods in transit ... and we are
unable to accept responsibility for damage if the goods have
been signed for and accepted in 'Good Condition'... If on
checking the parcel you find the goods to be damaged please
refuse delivery and inform us of the problem....Thank you.....
If you should have any point that you may wish
to raise direct with us then we would be pleased to receive your
e-mail's or telephone calls ...
Thank you .... Chris & Susan |
